Welfare Check/Vulnerable Adult: Araya McGhee
Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Deputies are attempting to locate and check the welfare of 31-year-old Araya McGhee and are asking the public for help.
An adult family care member reported Araya McGhee missing and requested a welfare check. McGhee has some medical concerns and operates at a lower level, causing concern for her welfare. It is also unclear if Araya can find her way back to the facility on her own.
She was last seen on September 14, 2026, at approximately 6:30 pm, when she left the facility near E. 32nd Avenue and S. Wilbur Road in Spokane Valley. She was reportedly wearing a dark green shirt, long red shorts, a pink beanie, and possibly carrying a light green backpack.
Araya McGhee may have planned to travel to the downtown area, but that has not been confirmed.
Araya McGhee is described as a 31-year-old White female, approximately 5’02”, 165 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
All efforts to locate her have been unsuccessful so far, and your help is requested.
